Audio Protocol
The Audio Protocol is used to select the audio output mode. After connecting to a device, the audio protocol is typically divided into 「UAC」 protocol and 「DP」 protocol.
UAC Protocol: Compatible with most devices that support USB-C DP output, and is usually used as the default mode. Supports direct volume adjustment of the device output on the glasses.
DP Protocol: HDMI-output and some gaming devices require switching to 「DP」 mode to enable direct volume adjustment on the glasses.
- Common devices that require switching to 「DP」 protocol include: Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox
How to Switch Audio Protocol
- Double-click the 「Menu Button」 to open the menu, go to 「Sound」
- Select 「Audio Protocol」
- Choose the desired mode
Notes
- If there is no sound after connecting a device, try switching the audio protocol
- In 「DP」 mode, the glasses cannot synchronize volume control with the connected device
- It is recommended to use the default protocol unless compatibility issues occur
