Aspect Control

ROG XREAL R1 supports aspect control with multiple screen ratios, suitable for movies, gaming, short video browsing, multitasking, and more.

"Aspect Control" supports switching the screen ratio to 「4:3」/ 「5:4」 / 「16:9」 / 「21:9」 / 「32:9」 / 「16:18」 / 「9:16」.

Please note that not all devices or systems support video signal output in specific aspect ratios. Therefore, even if "Aspect Control" is enabled, some devices may not display the actual effect of the selected ratio.

Supported Aspect Ratios

「4:3」 Suitable for some classic games, retro games, or traditional aspect ratio content.

「5:4」
Suitable for some older games, emulators, or specific desktop display scenarios.

「16:9」
A common standard aspect ratio, suitable for most videos, games, desktop use, and daily scenarios.

「21:9」
Suitable for movies, games, and widescreen content. Compared with 「32:9」, it generally offers better device and game compatibility.

「32:9」
An ultra-wide aspect ratio suitable for multitasking, ultra-wide gaming, and immersive horizontal viewing. It has higher requirements for the output signal of the host device.

「16:18」
Provides a wider vertical field of view, suitable for browsing vertical content, short videos, web reading, and multitasking.

「9:16」
Suitable for vertical content display, such as short videos, vertical apps, or mobile content browsing.

How to Enable

  1. Double-press the 「Menu Button」 to enter the OSD menu.
  2. Select 「Aspect Control」 under 「Spatial Screen」.
  3. Select the desired aspect ratio to enable it.
tip

When using 「Aspect Control」, set the glasses as an extended display on your computer. If the glasses are set to mirror your computer screen, the display will keep the same aspect ratio as the main screen, so the desired aspect ratio effect may not be visible.

Personalized Settings

Screen Size Adjustment
Supports custom screen size adjustment under different aspect ratios to meet different viewing needs.

Screen Distance Adjustment
