Frame Rate Boost

The 「Frame Rate Boost」 feature unlocks a higher refresh rate for smoother gaming visuals.

「Frame Rate Boost」 is a feature designed for gamers on ROG XREAL R1. By optimizing display signal processing, it unlocks higher screen refresh rates, delivering a smoother and more fluid gaming experience. ROG XREAL R1 supports up to 240Hz refresh rate, performing especially well in fast-paced gaming scenarios.

How to Enable​

  1. Double-click the 「Menu Button」 to enter the OSD menu
  2. On the 「Gaming」 page, select the 「Frame Rate Boost」 feature
  3. Click the 「Menu Button」 to enable

Feature Description​

  • After enabling Frame Rate Boost, the glasses will attempt to display at a higher refresh rate
  • Applicable to devices and content sources that support high refresh rates
  • In fast-paced gaming scenarios, higher frame rates can significantly reduce screen stuttering and motion blur

Notes​

  • Frame Rate Boost requires the source device to output a corresponding high frame rate signal
  • Not all devices or applications support high refresh rate output
  • High refresh rate mode may increase device power consumption
