Use UltraWide on Steam Deck

To use a 32:9 workspace on Steam Deck, select matching display settings on both XREAL 1 Pro+ and the handheld.

  1. Connect the glasses to Steam Deck.
  2. Double-click 「X」 and select 「Spatial Screen」 > 「UltraWide Mode」 > 「32:9」.
  3. Open Steam Deck's display settings for the external display.
  4. Turn off automatic resolution and select 3840 × 1080, if available.
  5. Wait for the image to return after the resolution changes.

If the resolution is unavailable, check that 32:9 is selected on the glasses, reconnect, and inspect the external-display settings again. Menu names and available resolutions depend on the SteamOS version and connection.

The system interface and each game have separate display settings. In-game UltraWide support depends on the game; select a supported resolution in its display settings. If a game does not support UltraWide, turn UltraWide Mode off on the glasses.
