Quick Gestures
In addition to the cursor and palm-back menu, there is a set of shortcut gestures that can be triggered directly without activating the cursor, which is suitable for quick operation in scenes such as watching movies, scrolling through short videos, and demonstrations.
1. Wrist Flip
When the cursor is not in use, flip your wrist directly to scroll. The flip gesture is designed for TikTok/REDnote The design of short video scenes enables one-handed brushing of videos.
-
How to perform the gesture:
-
Take the right hand as an example, the initial finger of the wrist is pointed downwards to the left, and the palm is facing yourself
-
Turn your wrist up until your palms are facing forward and your fingers are pointing straight up
-
-
Rolling the wrist once corresponds to a scroll event; continuous rolling can be achieved by continuously rolling the wrist.
-
Flipping can be configured in two simulations: mouse-wheel modes (sending scroll wheel events) or drag-and-drop simulations (sending Touchpad drag events). Drag-and-drop emulation is suitable for mobile devices with Touch screens, and scroll wheel emulation is suitable for desktop devices such as Windows and Mac.
-
Wheel orientation toggles "forward/reverse" in settings ((see Gesture Settings)).
2. Recenter the Display
Use repositioning gestures when the virtual screen is offset due to head movement, or when you want to "pull the screen back straight ahead".
-
Lift up the palm of your hand so that the palm is facing forward and the fingers are fully open.
-
Clench your fist and you will see a countdown UI, hold the gesture for about 2 seconds, the screen automatically returns to the correct position.
