Firmware Update

Keep the glasses' firmware up to date to get new features and improvements.

Check the version and update instructions​

Double-click 「X」 to open the OSD, then go to 「Settings」 > 「Check for Updates」. The current firmware version appears beside this entry. Open it to view update instructions.

Update using a computer​

  1. Connect the glasses to a Windows or macOS computer.
  2. Open Google Chrome.
  3. Visit the XREAL firmware update website and follow the instructions to complete the update.
Recommended browser

We recommend Google Chrome for firmware updates.

If default DP audio is enabled in 「Settings」 > 「General」 > 「Laboratory」, we recommend turning it off before updating. See General settings.

Update through XREAL Beam Pro​

  1. Connect Beam Pro to Wi-Fi.
  2. Connect XREAL 1 Pro+ to Beam Pro.
  3. The system checks the glasses' firmware automatically and prompts you when an update is available.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
