Prescription Lenses

Learn how to purchase, install, and use prescription lenses with xbx a01 / xbx a01+ glasses.

Note

Prescription lenses and the prescription lens frame are not included in the standard package of xbx a01 / xbx a01+. They must be purchased separately.

The xbx a01+ glasses are designed with portability and wearing comfort in mind. XREAL AR glasses support prescription lenses for users with nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism. Dedicated prescription lens accessories provide a lighter, more precise, and more comfortable vision correction solution.

Wearing regular eyeglasses together with AR glasses may cause the following issues:

  • Additional weight that may reduce comfort during extended use
  • Unstable positioning that may affect visual clarity
  • Improper spacing between the eyeglasses and AR glasses, which may cause eye strain

For these reasons, wearing regular eyeglasses together with AR glasses is not recommended for long-term use.

If you are unsure whether the xbx a01+ glasses will meet your vision needs, you may temporarily wear your regular eyeglasses with the AR glasses to test the display clarity and overall viewing experience.

Recommendation

If the short-term test meets your needs, we recommend ordering dedicated prescription lenses through an official channel for better stability and viewing comfort.
