Glasses Power
The XREAL AURA glasses do not have a built-in battery. The glasses are powered by the Compute Puck or the connected host device through the cable.
- Automatic Power On/Off: The glasses will automatically power on after connecting to the host device, and automatically power off after the USB cable is removed.

Charge the Compute Puck
What You Need
- USB-C Charging Cable (included in the box)
- Power Adapter (not included, please prepare your own)
Charger Selection Guide
To charge the Compute Puck safely and efficiently, we recommend using a power adapter that meets the following guidelines:
- Protocol: We recommend using a charger that supports the USB-PD (Power Delivery) or PPS (Programmable Power Supply) fast charging protocol.
- Output Power: We recommend an output power of 18W or higher (the Compute Puck supports a maximum input of 57W).
- Charging Cable: Please ensure you use the USB-C charging cable included in the box for charging.
Warning: Do not use a power adapter with an output power under 18W. Doing so may result in extremely slow charging or cause the battery level to drop when you use the device while charging.
How to Charge
- Connect the Charging Cable to the Charging Port on the left side of the Compute Puck.
- Connect the other end to your power adapter.
- Check the LED strip to confirm charging status.
Lower wattage chargers will take longer to charge the device.
LED Status Indicators
The LED strip at the bottom of the Compute Puck indicates battery level and charging status:
Check Battery Level (Power Button)
Whether the device is on or off, press the Power Button once to check battery status via the LED strip color:
- Solid green: Battery level is above 75%.
- Solid amber: Battery level is between 10% and 75%.
- Blinking amber: Battery level is below 10%. Recharge promptly.
Tip: You can also open Quick Settings or ask Gemini ("What's my battery level?") to check the precise battery percentage on-screen.
Charging Status
While the device is charging, the LED pulses slowly:
- Pulsing amber: Battery level is below 75%.
- Pulsing green: Battery level is 75% or higher.
- Solid green: Fully charged.
